My Tennesse Blessing... RV or not to RV... that is the question.....For me YES!

I finally was able to move to Tennessee and live in the mountains as I have wanted to do for many years.  I fell in love with this beautiful state from visits I had here.  I have a million dollar view from my backyard and feel like I am on vacation every day!  I bought an RV to live in and found a quaint little RV site to plant it.  I feel I am so blessed everyday!  Not old enough to retire but am working on this aspect everyday.  I moved here from Florida and yes things are much different here. Taxes are higher and the pay is lower but it evens itself out with other things being available at much lower costs.Car  insurance is much cheaper here as I am paying about $60.00 less a month. The rv park is very low and does include the water and electricity free Wifi...but the wifi signal is so weak that it is hard to use it here so I did end up getting satelite cable and internet.Moving here did shave my monthly expenses about $1000.00 but with the wages being lower you really don't come out too far ahead but with the peacefulness and the laidback ways here it is something that money just can't buy.  It suits me just  fine.  People should look into the RV life a little closer as you usually have a home that is paid for and move it where you want when you want as most parks are on a monthly lease. As I have gotten older I feel space in a home is overrated...I don't like cleaning areas that are not being used and who wants to devote a day to cleaning? Not me!
You have to really minimize your belongings but we do have soooo much stuff that is just stuff and no purpose.  It takes me about an hour if that to clean my little place and that is with vaccuuming, mopping, scrubbing the bathroom and cleaning my kitchen!  I found my RV on craiglists. I am so excited with the future of my life here and can't wait to fully enjoy all this state has to offer and to share it here.  I love country living as it suits my taste and my way of life, my craft interests and many other areas in my life.  I will continue to blog on my Tennessee blessing and keep it updated as I am a true believer in the simple life.
